Fall is the perfect time to try something new, stay active, and connect with local community culture right here in Lexington. This season, Bluegrass Ceili Academy is making it easier than ever to get started with an exciting giveaway: One lucky dancer will win a full year of tuition reimbursement for our upcoming 2026–2027 season!
Whether you’ve always wanted to learn Irish dance or you’re a returning dancer eager to share the joy of ceili with a friend, this promotion is open to everyone.
Here’s how you can enter the drawing!
- Attend a free preview class: Join us for one of our upcoming free introductory classes in Lexington — Wednesday, Sept. 9 from 5-7 p.m. at Artworks, Monday, Sept. 14 and Monday, Sept. 21 from 7-7:45 p.m at the Tates Creek Ballroom — classes are held in the building behind the pool at 1400 Gainesway Drive. Experience traditional Irish group dancing in a welcoming, supportive environment. No prior dance experience or special shoes required! (Check out our Events page for details!)
- Visit us at Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day: Catch our live performance and drop by the Bluegrass Ceili Academy table during the Thursday Night Live Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day celebration from 5-8 p.m. on Sept. 17 to fill out an official entry.
- Bring a friend (current dancers): Are you already enrolled with us? Share your love of Irish dance! Bring a newcomer to a free class or event, and both you and your guest will receive an entry into the giveaway.
The grand prize winner will be selected via random drawing on Friday, October 9, 2026. To claim the tuition reimbursement, the winner (or the winner’s designated student) must be officially registered and listed on the class roster by the end of the first week of classes
