Do what makes your heart sing! Whether you’re looking for someone to perform at your event or teach a workshop to your co-workers or students, Bluegrass Ceili Academy is here to dance for you. Our talented dancers, instructors and student performers can help give your event that extra Irish spark.
We’ve performed onstage with musicians such as the Chieftains, Gaelic Storm, We Banjo 3 and Carbon Leaf, and at a range of local and regional festivals including the Lexington St. Patrick’s Parade and Festival, the Kentucky Highland Renaissance Festival, Lexington’s DiverCity Festival, the Central Kentucky Celtic Festival and the Danville Sister Cities Festival. Dancing on stages big to small, such as Lexington Opera House, the Kentucky Theatre, the Lyric Theatre, Woodford Theatre and the Downtown Arts Center, we can customize a performance for you.
Teachers: looking for a way to liven up your classes or events? We’re proud bring the joy of Irish dance and music to you, as we have with music classes at Crawford Middle School, Arts Night at Stonewall Elementary and Arts Day at Dixie Elementary. We’re also a part of the Arts Everywhere for Students with LexArts and can work with you to create an online learning experience for your classes.
