The plan will address the future of parks, recreation, trails, cultural arts programs, events and open space in Lexington.
They are your parks, and the plan is our future. Now is the time to make sure your voice is heard!
A proud partner of Lexington, KY Parks & Recreation and its dance programs in Lexington, Bluegrass Ceili Academy will be on site at two of four public meetings next week to gather public comments on the Parks Master Plan. Four public meetings will be held June 19 – 22.
It’s your opportunity to let plan developers know that cultural arts programs, such as Artworks at the Carver School and the Irish dance classes we teach there, are important to you.

Come join us at the Lyric Theatre or Clays Mill Elementary next week, or stop by the meetings at the Northside Library and the Senior Center to see where our parks and recreation programs are heading. Join us in letting our community know that the arts education and dance programs in Lexington offered through Parks & Recreation are a valuable, affordable options for our children and adults.
