This week, as we wrap up our first class season for Irish dance in Lexington, KY, we take a look at some of the milestones we've reached. Our 2016-2017 class year comes to a close on Monday, but we've already got big plans for the summer and for our next class year! This past weekend, our dancers took the stage at Kite Fest, sponsored by Lexington Parks and Recreation. It's a new year and there are plenty of new resolutions out there -- here's one you can stick with: giving our Lexington Irish dance classes a try in 2017! With a variety of different classes to try, we're sure you'll find something to stick with. Want to take weekly classes? Register through Lexington Parks & Recreation for our super fun, super affordable spring session at Artworks at the Carver School. No previous dance experience necessary, however students with previous dance or Irish dance experience are welcome. Beginning January 30, sign up for our 6 p.m. Children's Irish Dance class or our 7 p.m. Adult Irish Dance class. Bluegrass Ceili Academy will begin offering classes for Irish dance in Lexington, KY Sept. 26 through Artworks, a community cultural arts program. Registration for classes is open now through the Lexington Parks and Recreation website. We're opening the studio on on Monday nights for classes at the Carver School in downtown Lexington for both children and adults! Children's Irish dance in Lexington, KY: Our children’s Irish dance class is from 6 – 7 p.m. and has a fall and spring session. The fall session runs September 26 – December 5 and costs $60. The spring session is January 30 – April 17 and is $70.
